Sage advice from a second year podiatry student!

Adelaid Marambakuyana, a second year student at the University of Northampton, gives essential advice for first year students going into their second year and new students. Her advice is:

- KNOW and REMEMBER your anatomy! Once exams are over it is easy to forget what you’ve learnt but remembering your anatomy will help your immediate survival!

- Research Kinesiology; there are helpful websites to learn more about kinesiology such as Khan Academy! - Know the degrees in range of motion on the ankle! Engrain them into your life! - Understand the basics of physiology because this will help you in pharmacology that is taught in the second year as well as Pod Med.

- Year 2 looks at many conditions that secondarily affect the lower limb such as Diabetes and Arthritis. Try and research these conditions before entering your second year!

Thank you Adelaid!
